How to flash TWRP recovery on Redmi 4X?
Step 1: Download TWRP Installer for Redmi 4X and extract to your PC.
Step 2: Put / reboot your device into bootloader mode. To do that, simply turn off your device, press the Power button and Volume down ( – ) button at the same time.
Step 3: Run twrp-installer.bat as an administrator. And press any key in your keyboard.
Step 4: After flashing press any key – Your phone will automatically boot into recovery mode.

How to Root Redmi 4X device?
Step 1: Download SuperSu from above and transfer into your phone’s internal storage.
Step 2: Now Boot your Redmi 4X in to Twrp Recovery mode. After Booting In TWRP recovery mode you will see Many options. Now choose Install.
Step 3: As soon as you choose Install, you will be asked to select the File. Now choose the Rooting package you have downloaded earlier and move it to internal storage.
Step 4: After the successful rooting you will receive a Successful message written on the Top. Reboot system.
