Hello Fellow Redmi/Mi Fans, Hope you are enjoying our redmi tips & tricks, this time we are presenting the tips to properly charge redmi phone battery. You may need to charge your phone’s battery at least once in a day, these tips may help you in getting the most out of your battery’s limited lifespan.

How to Properly Charge Redmi Phone Battery

1Use original charger

It’s always recommended to use the original charger only to give your battery proper juice. Using original charging adapter and USB cable can help you to charge your device properly and prolong its battery life. If you lose the charger which comes with your phone, make sure that the third-party charger is approved by your phone’s manufacturer. It’s worthy to mention that while buying Mi devices you will get a suitable charging adapter along with USB cable in the box.

2Charge a little bit whenever you can

You will find a significant number of devices with Lithium-ion batteries which don’t respond well to being charged all the way up and then run all the way down. They take much better to little bits of charge here and there. It turns out that the batteries in our smartphones are much happier if you charge them occasionally throughout the day instead of plugging them in for a big charging session when they’re empty. Not only does this keep your smartphone’s battery performing optimally for longer, but it also keeps it topped up throughout the day. Plus, periodic top-ups also let you use features you might not normally use because they hog your battery life, like location-based features that use your smartphone’s GPS antenna.

3Unplug while it’s fully charged

If you leave your phone plugged in when it’s fully charged, it may harm the battery in the long run. Once your smartphone has reached 100% charge, it gets trickle charges to keep it at 100% while plugged in. It keeps the battery in a high-stress, high-tension state, which wears down the chemistry within.

4Neither 0% nor 100%

You shouldn’t leave a Li-ion battery li-ing around too long at 0% rather you should try to leave it at around 40-50%. These batteries drain at about 5-10% a month when not in use. If you let the battery discharge completely and leave it uncharged for a long period of time it may eventually become incapable of holding a charge at all (that’s properly dead). So try to keep them all at least half charged. Similarly, you shouldn’t charge your device 100% all the time. In fact, it is better not to fully charge, because a high voltage stresses the battery. Experts recommend that you do a full 0% to 100% battery recharge once a month only. This recalibrates the battery – a bit like restarting your computer, or, for humans, going on holiday!

5Avoid extreme heat and cold

Speaking of temperature, make sure you don’t leave your phone in a hot car all day. Or place it on top of your gaming PC.Think like your battery and keep it in comfortable environments. Stop using your device if it begins to overheat. Operating temperature should be between 32 and 95 degree Fahrenheit. If you notice that your device gets hot when you charge it, take it out of its case first. If you’re out in the hot sun, keep your phone covered. It’ll protect your battery’s health.

Dear MIUIers, hope these tips will help you to take more care of your favorite devices. MIUI always cares for your device and battery. The battery optimization of MIUI can give your battery some extra juice. Moreover I believe Devs are continuously working on ensuring better battery performance.
