How to Root Redmi Note 5 Pro using Magisk

This guide will help on how you can Root Redmi Note 5 Pro using Magisk.

Why choose Magisk over SuperSu
With Magisk Manager, you can hide root from any app and all apps at once if you wish to, as well. Whereas, SuperSU cannot do that and you may not be able to use banking apps, Pokemon go and some other games along with some major Android apps. This might be a problem as you won’t be able to use this apps.  One of the major differences between SuperSU and Magisk Manager is that, SuperSU will add some files at the time of rooting and that’s not a good sign with many apps and games that get’s issues with the files it adds.

If you have already installed TWRP Recovery or any other recovery the further steps will be much easier for you. If not then you have to install any Custom Recovery to root your Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. We recommend you to install TWRP Recovery which has official version for Redmi Note 5 Pro.
